Tucked away in the quiet village of Freehay and a few miles from Alton Towers is the delightful "Queens at Freehay" Public House and Restaurant. The charming building dates back to the 18th century and enjoys a pretty setting surrounded by mature trees and a well tended garden. Stepping over the threshold, visitors will be pleasantly surprised to find a refreshingly modern interior with bright décor and elegant tables and chairs.
This is a family run business and we believe we have created a well-liked eating and drinking place with high quality food that is renowned throughout the surrounding area. The a la carte menu offers something to suit every taste and appetite with two daily specials boards for fresh fish and meat dishes. The fine cuisine can be enjoyed every lunchtime and evening (children are welcome). Bookings are recommended at all times. The Bar offers a good choice of draught lagers, ciders including Burton and other local beers kept on tap.
