About UsMenu'sWhere Are We?

Tucked away in the quiet Staffordshire town of Cheadle is the delightful Queens at Freehay public house. The charming building dates back to the 18th century and enjoys a pretty setting surrounded by mature trees and a well looked after garden. Stepping over the threshold, visitors will be pleasantly surprised to find a refreshingly modern interior with bright décor and elegant tables and chairs. This is very much a family-run establishment with Anne and Graham Yates arriving in 1999, subsequently handing things over to their son Adrian a couple of years later, while still helping out where they can.

The family have created a well-liked eating and drinking place with high quality food that is renowned throughout the surrounding area. The a la carte menu offers something to suit every taste and appetite and there are also two daily specials boards, one dedicated to fresh fish dishes. The fine cuisine can be enjoyed every lunchtime and evening and bookings are recommended at all times. The dining room is non-smoking and children are welcome. The bar offers a good choice of draught lagers, ciders and beers with two real ales, Burton and Tetley, also kept on tap.
